SideRail (the "Software"), including its source code, user interface, visual
design, assets, documentation, and all associated materials, is the exclusive
intellectual property of icubaby (the "Author"). The Software is published
publicly for transparency and personal self-hosting ONLY. Publication does not
place the Software in the public domain and does not grant any ownership rights.

1. WHAT YOU MAY DO

  a) View and study the source code.
  b) Fork the repository and deploy a single instance for your OWN personal,
     private, non-commercial use.
  c) Submit contributions back to the official repository (which, once merged,
     become part of the Software under this same license).

2. WHAT YOU MAY NOT DO (without prior written permission from the Author)

  a) Sell, resell, sublicense, rent, or offer the Software or any derivative,
     in whole or in part, as a paid product, service, or subscription.
  b) Use the Software, in whole or in part, in any commercial product or
     commercial service.
  c) Remove, hide, obfuscate, alter, or replace any copyright notice,
     attribution, author name ("icubaby"), branding, logo, watermark, embedded
     identifier, or link to the official repository
     (https://github.com/icubaby/SideRail) that appears in the source code,
     the panel, the subscription pages, or generated configuration remarks.
  d) Claim authorship of the Software or represent it, or any derivative, as
     your own original work.
  e) Redistribute modified or unmodified copies while presenting them as the
     official SideRail or in a way that causes confusion about the origin.
  f) Republish the Software under a different name to disguise its origin
     ("re-branding" / "white-labeling") without written permission.

3. ATTRIBUTION (MANDATORY)

  Every deployment and every derivative work MUST keep, visible and unmodified:
    - the "icubaby / SideRail" name and logo shown in the panel and on the
      subscription pages;
    - the link to the official repository (https://github.com/icubaby/SideRail);
    - all copyright headers present in the source files;
    - the embedded build/authorship identifier(s) present in the code.

4. ANTI-THEFT / PROOF OF ORIGIN

  The Software contains embedded identifiers and watermarks that establish the
  Author as the original creator. Removing or tampering with these identifiers
  is itself a violation of this license and may constitute a violation of
  applicable copyright and anti-circumvention laws. These identifiers may be
  used as evidence of authorship and of infringement.

5. ENFORCEMENT

  Any use outside the permissions in Section 1 immediately terminates all
  rights granted under this license. The Author reserves the right to pursue
  all available legal remedies, including but not limited to takedown requests
  (DMCA), injunctions, and claims for damages, against any person or entity
  that violates this license.
