DataInfra RedactionEverything Personal Use License 1.0 Copyright (c) TracyWang95. All rights reserved except as expressly granted below. This license is designed for a source-available project with free personal use and separate commercial licensing for commercial, organizational, and production use. 1. Definitions "Project" means the DataInfra RedactionEverything source code, documentation, configuration files, and related materials in this repository. "Individual" means a natural person acting on their own behalf, not on behalf of an employer, company, institution, government agency, or other organization. "Organization" means any company, partnership, institution, government agency, non-profit, team, department, or other legal entity, whether commercial or not. "Personal Use" means use by an Individual for their own non-commercial personal projects, learning, research, demonstrations, evaluation, or private experiments, provided the Project itself is not used for paid work, consulting delivery, freelance services, hosted services, commercial products, sublicensing, or an Organization's production use without a separate commercial agreement. "Production Use" means use in live business operations, internal operations, customer-facing workflows, regulated workflows, revenue-generating workflows, or processing real business, customer, patient, legal, financial, government, or institutional data. 2. Individual License Grant If you are an Individual, you may use, copy, run, modify, and create derivative works of the Project for Personal Use at no charge. You may publish patches, forks, or pull requests for the purpose of discussion, review, or contribution, provided that you preserve copyright notices and this license file. 3. Organization Evaluation Grant Organizations may view, clone, build, and evaluate the Project for internal assessment, security review, procurement review, compatibility testing, and proof-of-concept work. Organizations must obtain a separate written commercial license before any Production Use, redistribution, managed-service use, SaaS use, OEM use, or integration into commercial or institutional products or services. 4. Commercial License Requirement A separate written commercial license is required for: - use by or for an Organization in production; - paid consulting, freelance, or commercial service delivery; - deployment inside a company, institution, government agency, or team; - use in customer-facing, regulated, or revenue-generating workflows; - providing the Project as a hosted service, managed service, API, appliance, embedded feature, OEM component, or bundled product; - redistributing modified or unmodified copies outside the rights granted above; - support, SLA, warranty, indemnity, procurement, or custom delivery terms. Restrictions You may not: - remove or obscure copyright notices, attribution notices, or this license; - sell, sublicense, rent, lease, or redistribute the Project except as allowed by this license or a separate written agreement; - offer the Project, modified or unmodified, as a hosted service or managed service without a commercial license; - use the Project on behalf of an Organization for Production Use without a commercial license; - use project names, logos, trademarks, or maintainer identities to imply endorsement without written permission; - use the Project to violate applicable law or third-party rights. 6. Data, Outputs, and Models You retain rights to your own input files, configuration data, recognition results, redacted outputs, and generated artifacts. This repository does not grant rights to third-party model weights, datasets, fonts, packages, or services. Those components are governed by their own licenses and terms. 7. Contributions Unless otherwise agreed in writing, any contribution intentionally submitted to this repository may be included in the Project and licensed under this license and any future license offered by the project maintainer. 8. No Warranty The Project is provided "AS IS", without warranties or conditions of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, or security. You are responsible for validating redaction quality, compliance requirements, deployment security, access control, model behavior, and output correctness for your own use case. 9. Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by law, the copyright holder and contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising from or related to the Project. 10. Termination Your rights under this license terminate automatically if you violate its terms. Upon termination, you must stop using the Project under this license and remove unauthorized copies or deployments. 11. No Implied Rights All rights not expressly granted by this license are reserved.
