Introduction
Espressif's SDK for Matter is the official Matter development framework for ESP32 series SoCs. It is built on top of the open source Matter SDK, and provides simplified APIs, commonly used peripherals, tools and utilities for security, manufacturing and production accompanied by exhaustive documentation. It includes rich production references, aimed to simplify the development process of Matter products and enable the users to go to production in the shortest possible time.
Espressif Matter Services
Beyond the SDK, Espressif offers production services to help you take a Matter product to mass production:
-
Matter Pre-Provisioning Service — secure provisioning of device identity (DAC, PAI, and unique commissioning data), offered in three flavours:
- Espressif factory — ready-to-use modules pre-provisioned on our line
- Customer factory — provision on your own line using Espressif's factory tool
- In the field — deliver DACs to already-deployed devices over the air
-
Certification Assistance — help taking your product through CSA Matter certification
