Why A2E exists
A meeting note, the tasks that follow it, and the files for the next event belong close together. A2E Suite is being built to give that work a home, with apps you can add as you need them.
The project is developed by Max Aubert for A2E, Association d'Entraide Étudiante, a French nonprofit. The aim is practical: useful tools for people whose time and budgets are already stretched.
Start with a page. Add a project, plan the week, or prepare the association's budget. Keep the navigation focused on the apps your workspace uses. The interface supports English and French, with light and dark themes.
Support & visibility
The University of Burgundy (Université Bourgogne Europe), the City of Dijon and the Campus Paramédical of the CHU Dijon Bourgogne back the project and share its visibility. Their support is institutional, not financial: A2E receives no funding from these partners.
Inside the workspace
| App | What you can work on |
|---|---|
| Documents with a Tiptap editor, nested pages, favorites and templates. Project and task drafts with lists, boards and a Gantt timeline. | |
| Day, week, month and agenda views, timed events and Bureau task deadlines. | |
| Income and expense review, a cashbook, budgets, and quote and invoice preparation. | |
| Folder drafts and, in connected mode, private file uploads, downloads and trash. | |
| CRM | People, company and opportunity drafts for organizing contacts and client work. |
| The planned assistant. Its entry point is present; provider integration is still to come. |
Development is active. The Next.js migration is still in progress. Connected mode includes managed authentication, PostgreSQL persistence and shared conversations; hosted services have separate acceptance checks. Invoice issuance, calendar provider sync, public sharing and Syna are among the remaining work. The feature status records the boundaries for each app. The roadmap groups what is left, and the changelog records what already landed.

Run it locally
Use Node.js 24 and Yarn 4.13.0. The Yarn release is included in the repo.
git clone https://github.com/maxx-abrt/A2E-Suite.git
cd A2E-Suite
node .yarn/releases/yarn-4.13.0.cjs install --immutable
node .yarn/releases/yarn-4.13.0.cjs devOpen localhost:3003/en/workspace for the workspace, or localhost:3003 for the public site. No account, database or API key is needed for the default local preview. It saves work in this browser. Use Export workspace to keep a copy; local drafts are not automatically uploaded when connected mode is enabled.
For authentication, database persistence and private storage, follow the
connected setup. For Vercel, use
packages/suite-web as the project root and follow the
deployment guide.
Built with
Next.js 16, React 19 and TypeScript, with Tiptap for documents and Lingui for translations. Connected mode uses Neon PostgreSQL, managed Neon Auth and private object storage. Yarn workspaces and Nx keep the shared packages together.
| Package | Responsibility |
|---|---|
suite-web | Next.js app, workspace, server routes and database migrations |
suite-public | Public website, translations, branding and fonts |
suite-core | Shared types and utilities |
suite-ui | Shared components, icons and themes |
suite-lint | Shared lint rules |
These are the active packages. Earlier implementations are preserved in an external archive and are not runtime dependencies.
Help shape it
Good bug reports, clearer documentation, translations and accessibility fixes are useful contributions. You do not need to take on an entire feature to help. Issues and pull requests are welcome in English or French.
Read the contribution guide for setup, useful starting points and checks. For a larger change, open an issue with the workflow you want to improve before starting implementation.
